Each storyline had a richness that was only strengthened by the comparison and contrast to the other. The book certainly brought all the feels, and elements of all characters. Throughout the novel, the story is smooth and generally moves along well.
Beautifully written and operating on several levels, it's the story of a woman's transformation during an isolated summer in the Canadian wilds. The bear is both actual and mythical. Patterns woven together very subtly and complex, nothing forced I thought about this book long after I finished it, enough to look up and read other reviews.
Interesting read. Had a tough time rating this. It is really beautifully written and there are parts that I loved, but, and it's a big but I guess I'm a prude, but I had issues with the bestial affair.
Early on, I found the relationship very enchan I can't figure out if I am unevolved, or I'm right and the whole sex thing is just revolting. My issue, obviously.
